The VersaMax Absorbance Microplate Reader allows for the selection up to two wavelengths for absorbance detection in the visible wavelength range at the same time (340 nm – 850 nm).
Narrow bandwidths provide greater accuracy and peak resolution. Also patented multichannel optical design mimics a dual-beam spectrophotometer, directly measures each sample in the plate, and eliminates error caused by variations in light output between optical fibres on other instruments, resulting in more reliable reporting.
When reading 96-Well microplates for single endpoint measurements and kinetic assay data gathered over time, the eight-channel system delivers high precision and speed.
Temperature-sensitive samples and reactions are kept safe by regulating the temperature from room temperature to 45°C. Using the user-programmable Automix feature, thoroughly mix samples in microplate wells.
